Petrified wood is created from fossilised trees transformed into stone by a mineralisation process that occurs underground, over hundreds of millions of years. This rare material features striking colours and motifs created by the mineral formation process, comprised of semi-precious minerals such as quartz, chalendony and jasper.
This is a meticulously hand sculptured product. Each object will have its own unique presence and feature interesting variations in the natural materials and forms created during the artisanal process.
